This is worth your trek across town or if you are by the Empire State Building, make sure to stop in and at least try the wings or appetizers. I wanted to try the cheese corn but had no room left to attempt. Followed up by Hushpuppies with a slight kick, the mixed Fried Chicken (full size) drumsticks left me wanting more on my already protruding stomach. From the black and white images beaming from the televisions behind the bar to the actual DJ booth near the back wall, this place is super-funky and exactly what you want in a dining experience different from others. When you open the door, you will know immediately, you are in the right place. You follow the passageway around the elevator and proceed up the spiral staircase to the close door. to the left with a desk and an elevator behind it. If you are looking at Empire Pizza, it is the door. To start, this place is a bit hard to find. Turntable is a sister restaurant to Mad for Chicken, so it threw me off a bit trying to find where to place this review.
